Replica Signs

Our replica signs are very accurate castings of the originals made in a hard plaster by Bob Edwardes. Though fairly robust, they are not suitable for sending by post, so are only available at members’ meetings, or public events where the WC&P Railway Group has a sales display. Replica of a rare cast iron plate of which about seven are thought to exist. These may have been coach or wagon plates, or notice board headers. Available in black or green background - red out of stock.

Size: 278 mm x 64 mm    –   11 ins. X 2½ ins.

Replica of the only known original brass plate held by National Railway Museum in York. Original was fixed to ex-GCR coach purchased by WC&PR in 1901. Black background with gold lettering.
