We are the only group dedicated solely to this railway.

 

MEMBERS

We welcome people from near or far, of any age, whether as active members, or as ‘armchair’ ones. By increasing our membership, we can achieve our aims more quickly, and have more influence with councils etc. This is the only group dedicated solely to the WC&PR, and we currently have over 170 members. We’re not an all-male group – about 14% are female at present.

Members benefits:

• Quarterly newsletters, so no matter where you live you can keep up-to-date with what’s happening.
• Six members’ meetings per year, with guest speakers on a range of interesting topics.
• Trips to other railways or places of interest.
• Occasional trips to follow the route by minibus and by arrangement with the landowners we are able to see otherwise inaccessible stretches.
• Annual Dinner in November/December.
• Discount on our DVDs and replica WC&P sign.
